We have also tried to drill down on Kentucky's state House & Senate elections to give you a better idea of each district's party registration and background information on the candidates where available. The map also provides background information on how the states voted in past elections. 2008 Presidential Poll Summary for Kentucky There have been numerous presidential polls conducted in Kentucky during the campaign. Check out how the race has progressed over the summer. 2008 Senate Poll Summary for Kentucky So far the most interesting race in Kentucky this election cycle has been Bruce Lunsford's challenge to incumbent U.S. Senator and Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell. It will be interesting to see how the race continues to evolve up until election day.
